The Glenfield Return to School Program aims to:
- provide a safe and structured school environment for students on suspension
- collaborate with students, their carers and schools and other stakeholders to support students with a successful return to school
- assist students to reflect on the events leading to their suspension, and the impact on the school and others
- provide intensive academic support so students remain up to date with their home school work during their suspension
- deliver targeted social-emotional learning, including learning about the brain, the crisis escalation cycle, deescalation strategies, and strengths learning to help change patterns of behaviour
- provide skills development opportunities and support for parents/carers
- suggest student behavioural and learning support strategies which can be implemented by home schools

The Glenfield Return to School Program is housed in a Federation period cottage, and is easily accessible by car, train or bus.
